Last Friday our cohort graduated from Fullstack Academy. You couldn’t ask for a better group of people to go through such an intense learning experience with. I will miss all of my new friends and colleagues and wish them the best as they go on to become great professional developers.
I’ve worked on a couple of audio-centered apps in the last two months with other developers at Fullstack, and one thing I’ve noticed is that audio seems to make some non-musician developers feel intimidated, even if they are interested in or curious about a particular idea for an app that incorporates audio in some way.
Another great Web Audio Meetup here in NYC today. We got to see a voice pitch-controlled game (sing to shoot your opponent), an app that pipes audio from one location to many devices in another location, and music performance by coding.
A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was giving Pinboard another go. In response to that Ross Shannon reached out to me on Twitter about a bookmarklet he’s made called Pincushion which is meant to offer an improved experience over the default Pinboard bookmarklet.
